The CompTIA EIDX Technology Subcommittee
The CompTIA EIDX Technology Subcommittee offers EIDX members the opportunity to evaluate technologies being developed for the Web and to define technical interaction with — and changes to — existing business models and guidelines.

The EIDX Technology Subcommittee forms liaisons with other standards bodies such as the ebXML, OAGI, and RosettaNet. We also evaluate other issues, such as Web services, value added networks, security techniques, and emerging technologies required to support e-Commerce. Other areas of responsibility for the EIDX Technology Subcommittee include —

  • Identifying core and enabling technologies for conducting Internetworked
    e-Business
  • Creating and maintaining an EIDX e-Business architecture framework
  • Identifying new and emerging technologies and identify potential
    usage in e-Business
  • Identifying key technical components for business models and pilots
