The CompTIA EIDX Technology Subcommittee
The CompTIA EIDX Technology Subcommittee offers EIDX members the
opportunity to evaluate technologies being developed for the Web
and to define technical interaction with — and changes to
— existing business models and guidelines.
The EIDX Technology Subcommittee forms liaisons with other standards
bodies such as the ebXML, OAGI, and RosettaNet. We also evaluate
other issues, such as Web services, value added networks, security
techniques, and emerging technologies required to support e-Commerce.
Other areas of responsibility for the EIDX Technology Subcommittee
include —
- Identifying core and enabling technologies for conducting Internetworked
e-Business
- Creating and maintaining an EIDX e-Business architecture framework
- Identifying new and emerging technologies and identify potential
usage in e-Business
- Identifying key technical components for business models and
pilots
