Submitting Acronyms
You can submit an acronym or
let us know about errors or broken
links. Use the following guidelines when you submit an acronym to
be included on our site —
- Spell out the acronym,
capitalizing the appropriate letters
- e.g., "ERP Enterprise Resource
Planning"
- Abbreviations are not included unless they
are abbreviations that are commonly mistaken for acronyms
- Include the URL
of any Web site associated with the acronym
- Acronyms must be verifiable
- We maintain
the right to reject any submission
- Non-English acronyms are accepted
- Allow a reasonable amount of time for your suggestion
to be posted
Resource List
Some of the glossaries, dictionaries,
articles, solution-provider definitions, and other sources used
to compile our list of abbreviations are provided here. The definitions
listed at some of these sites may contradict the EIDX definitions
because there is not yet a universal consistency in global eBusiness
terminology.
