CompTIA EIDX Guidelines and Standards Current Projects
The CompTIA EIDX Guidelines and Standards Subcomittee is creating a major cross referencing initiative called cross-reference (XRef). XRef deals with links between semantically equivalent metadata fields across X12, UN/EDIFACT, RosettaNet, OAGIS, and xCBL, tied with Universal Data Element Framework (UDEF). With XRef you can look up a business term and find all semantic equivalents across all the supported standards.

The XRef development team is currently devloping the XRef for the term purchase order acknowledgement. The end result will be a spreadsheet that hyperlinks to the standards documentation and sample data.

We are currently seeking participants who are experts in the following data semantics standards to join the XRef initiative:

• X12
• UN/EDIFACT
• RosettaNet
• OAGIS
• xCBL
• UDEF

A detailed knowledge of the purchase order acknowledgement is in particular demand at this point in our initiative.
