EIDX/CompTIA ConsignmentScenario VI
Debit Award
When the distributor resells stock for which Ship-and-Stock
and Debit is authorized and the sale is reported to the supplier,
the supplier automatically grants a debit, allowing the distributor
to debit the difference between the original book price and the
current quote price from money owed the supplier for other transactions.

| 4. |
This model: The supplier
may use the sales data instead of a debit
claim to automatically notify the distributor that a debit
is approved.
The more common practice is for the distributor to submit a
debit claim to the supplier, who then sends back a response,
per Debits and Credits Model 7.
